Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow & lead? Join us as Segment Manager – High Temperature Insulation (HTI). This is a new, exciting opportunity that focuses on the refractory market in Spain and PortugalThe role is fully remote, with extensive travel across the region.What you’ll doTo sell and promote the company's range of HTI products to meet area sales & revenue targets for the Business Unit and DivisionTargeting distributors, installers and the refractory market, such as steel and glass production factoriesSourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, considering all communication mediums and routes to marketManage selected segmentation of customers with the ambition of nurturing growth in revenue and margin termsWorking within a European team, collaborate with other segment managers to ensure alignment between customer value propositions and segment strategiesIdentify potential customer targets and be responsible for seeking out and building a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Ensuring all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRMMaintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products, solutions, and servicesKey Account Management, developing trusting and sustainable long‑term relationships.Establishing the technical and commercial needs of the customer to provide sustainable, competitive, and value‑added solutionsWork alongside the technical support team to build a comprehensive understanding of the company products to jointly offer appropriate and valuable solutions to the customerBe responsible for contributing to and developing sales plans to achieve sales goals, increase market share and securing long‑term growthTrack progress against targets on an ongoing basis & take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being metWhat you’ll bringDemonstrable experience and strong track record in business development in a similar role in the construction industry. Preferably someone with previous experience within the HTI business segment (Steel, Glass or Aluminium)Ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network, and influence and develop solid working relationshipsStrong interpersonal and communication skills as well as effective prioritisation and organisational skills with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsA technical background would be advantageous, so if you have an engineering / technical qualification, this is desirableWillingness to travel within the region able to deliver on sales targets whilst working remotelyFluency in Spanish and English is a must, with Portugese being advantageousWhy join us?We are named the world's #1 most trustworthy company in the construction sector by Newsweek and Statista in 2023Our culture – we connect & care about those around us.
