We believe that our advantage is that we WORK TOGETHER, and we celebrate our diverse backgrounds as critical to our business success.Job DescriptionEnsuring that daily accounting operations are processed in accordance with Spanish legislation, IFRS and best practices.Full responsibility for payroll area from preparation to payment, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation.Daily management of accounting, e.g., provide control and necessary guidance to ensure work is done accurately and with highest quality standards.Cash flow management: monthly cash flow forecast for the Group Financial Manager, ensuring sufficient resources to pay invoices on time.Preparation of VAT reports and submission to tax authorities; ensuring tax is calculated and accounted for in compliance with Spanish tax legislation.Preparation of statistics reports for the Bank.Control and approve payments (payroll, invoices, taxes and others).Follow up that tax payments and payments to suppliers are made within stipulated deadlines.Ensuring that Evolution Group’s financial procedures are followed and complied with.Monthly closing procedures: ensure month is closed properly – necessary depreciation and accrual calculations are in place.Ensure that transactions entered during the month were done properly and accurately by selecting correct accounts, periods and accounting principles.Issue monthly invoices for services (management fees and similar).Reconciliation of monthly group balances.Ensure that taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with Spanish tax legislation.Cooperation with bank – requesting documents for changes in users, opening/closing company cards.Cooperation with tax authorities – consulting, managing disputes, other communication.Partner with accounting system providers and support regarding existing problems, possible improvements.Follow legislative changes, necessary software updates.Preparation of statutory audits – preparation of annual reports, Spanish tax calculations, provision of information required by auditors, answering auditors’ questions, assistance to ensure statutory audits finalized within deadlines.Follow up VAT position (balance).
