We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at one of the most celebrated restaurants in the Balearic Islands.If you’ve got the expertise to craft innovative Mediterranean dishes, a track record of leading a kitchen to success, and the passion to take our dining experience to new heights, we want to hear from youWhat You’ll Be Doing:Leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional Mediterranean dishes, made with the finest seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.Creating and evolving a menu that celebrates the very best of Mediterranean flavours, from fresh seafood to vibrant vegetables and aromatic herbs.Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.Managing kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and keeping within budget without compromising on quality.Leading by example, inspiring your team to work efficiently and effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive, collaborative environment.Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and plating during service, ensuring everything runs smoothly.Working closely with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience that showcases the Mediterranean spirit.Developing, training, and mentoring the kitchen team, fostering a culture of creativity, skill development, and teamwork.Keeping up to date with food trends, techniques, and innovations, while maintaining a strong respect for traditional Mediterranean cooking.What We’re Looking For:Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-volume restaurant, ideally with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
