VHIR offers a vacant position for a Technician with experience in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics for the Nephrology and Transplantation Research Group
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Perform bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput omics datasets, including next-generation sequencing data.
- Develop predictive and prognostic statistical models within research projects related to solid organ transplantation.
- Identify, analyse and validate candidate biomarkers using multi-omics approaches.
- Contribute to preparation of internal reports, research proposals, scientific manuscripts and grant applications.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for research meetings, scientific conferences and dissemination activities.
- Ensure the reproducibility and documentation of bioinformatic workflows following good research practices
