The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Accountant to own accounting end-to-end at Workfully.

This is a standalone finance role combining core accounting ownership with exposure to FP&A activities. You’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with leadership and external providers to ensure accuracy, visibility, and financial control across the business.

You’ll have autonomy, clear responsibility, and direct impact in a growing SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

Accounting & Operations

• Run day-to-day accounting (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations)

• Own month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare financial statements and management reports

• Manage accruals, prepaids, and SaaS revenue recognition

• Coordinate with external tax, payroll, and audit partners

• Maintain clean documentation, implement and improve accounting processes as the company scales

FP&A & Business Support

- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles

- Track actuals vs budget and analyse variances

- Monitor cash flow and runway

- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business and leadership decisions

Who You Are

~3 years of experience in accounting or similar roles

- Comfortable owning the full accounting cycle independently

- Solid understanding of accrual accounting

- Confident working with numbers beyond bookkeeping (forecasting, analysis, cash flow)

- Experience in SaaS or startup environments is a plus

- Knowledge of Spanish accounting and VAT frameworks

- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
