Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Compliance Specialist to join our Conduct Compliance & Ethics Team of Compliance ING Spain

Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) team shares a collective responsibility for all the end-to-end compliance 31 processes as described in the SOLAR project in place to identify, manage, report and elevate the Compliance risks under your remit. The team will share responsibility to identify, manage, report and elevate local risks for your risk areas. At the same time, the team will contribute to the shape of global policies and be responsible for drafting and implementing local guidelines and standards where additional local requirements do exist.

Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) team keeps track/oversight of the local implementation of all policy-driven requirements by means of issue tracking, monitoring, Risk Dashboards, and other risk specific reporting (regulatory and internal reporting) to internal stakeholders including Corporate Compliance. The team has ongoing interaction with its correspondent team located at Business Line Compliance. The team will participate in the global CC&E community. The team provides an opportunity to manage relationships with external stakeholders, regulators and supervisory institutions.

You will hierarchically report into the local Lead Conduct Compliance & Ethics.

Your key responsibilities:

- You have a clear view on how the compliance function supports ING in being an integrity-led bank; being compliant with applicable laws and regulations and doing the right things the right way.

- You execute activities aimed at mitigating the Compliance risks under your remit.

- You execute (global) complex investigations.

- You perform:

- advisory activities (both client (segment)/deal related and in relation to underlying processes),

- training, awareness & communication, and

- Compliance oversight including monitoring & reporting on CC&E related risks.

- Punctual support to FCC area (on demand)

- You are a content matter expert, and decision maker responsible for proposing solutions to be implemented.

- You are accountable for roll-out, execution, uniformity and follow-ups of the risk-specific Risk Assessments

- You support the Compliance QA team to execute the KCTs and challenge the 1st line KCTs, acting as a Subject Matter Expert where needed.

- You identify, execute, monitor and report on local culture initiatives.

You have an experienced profile with a minimum 3-6 years in Compliance with expertise in investment products and services, specially focus on regulation including (but not limited to) leading with supervisory (CNMV) requirements and periodical or ad hoc reports, managing market abuse investigation and reporting, knowledge on investment (founds, broker and new instruments (like cryptos)).

You have a strong track record of advisory with regards to integrity-related matters.

You have analytical skills and sound judgement.

You have a ‘can do’ mentality and are able to embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment.

You have a university degree.

You have an excellent level of English and Spanish (verbal/written).

You have a curious and innovative mindset.

You have excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across functional and geographic lines.

You are firm when needed and able to show flexibility when possible.

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para incorporarse como Compliance Specialist en nuestro equipo de Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) dentro de Compliance ING Spain.

El equipo de Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) comparte la responsabilidad colectiva de todos los procesos de compliance end-to-end descritos en el proyecto SOLAR, diseñado para identificar, gestionar, reportar y escalar los riesgos de Compliance bajo tu ámbito de responsabilidad. El equipo comparte la responsabilidad de identificar, gestionar, reportar y escalar riesgos locales en tus áreas de riesgo. Al mismo tiempo, el equipo contribuye a dar forma a las políticas globales y es responsable de redactar e implementar directrices y estándares locales cuando existan requisitos adicionales.

El equipo de Conduct Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) realiza el seguimiento y supervisión de la implementación local de todos los requisitos impulsados por políticas mediante issue tracking, monitorización, Risk Dashboards y otros informes específicos de riesgo (regulatorios e internos) para stakeholders internos, incluyendo Corporate Compliance. El equipo mantiene una interacción continua con su equipo correspondiente ubicado en Business Line Compliance. Además, participa en la comunidad global de CC&E. El equipo ofrece la oportunidad de gestionar relaciones con stakeholders externos, reguladores e instituciones supervisoras.

Reportarás jerárquicamente al/a la Lead Conduct Compliance & Ethics local.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

- Tienes una visión clara de cómo la función de compliance apoya a ING para ser un banco guiado por la integridad; cumpliendo con las leyes y regulaciones aplicables y haciendo las cosas bien de la manera correcta.

- Ejecutas actividades orientadas a mitigar los riesgos de Compliance bajo tu responsabilidad.

- Ejecutas investigaciones complejas (globales).

- Realizas:

- actividades de asesoramiento (tanto relacionadas con clientes (segmento)/operaciones como con procesos subyacentes),

- formación, concienciación y comunicación, y

- supervisión de Compliance, incluyendo monitorización e informes sobre riesgos relacionados con CC&E.

- apoyo puntual al área de FCC (bajo demanda).

- Eres una persona experta en la materia y tomadora de decisiones, responsable de proponer soluciones para su implementación.

- Eres responsable del despliegue, ejecución, uniformidad y seguimiento de las evaluaciones de riesgo específicas.

- Apoyas al equipo de Compliance QA en la ejecución de los KCTs y en el challenge de los KCTs de primera línea, actuando como Subject Matter Expert cuando sea necesario.

- Identificas, ejecutas, monitorizas e informas sobre iniciativas locales relacionadas con la cultura.

¿Qué buscamos?

- Tienes un perfil experimentado con un mínimo de 3-6 años en Compliance, con experiencia en productos y servicios de inversión, especialmente enfocado en regulación, incluyendo (pero no limitado a) la gestión de requisitos supervisorios (CNMV) y la elaboración de informes periódicos o ad hoc, gestión de investigaciones y reporting de abuso de mercado, conocimiento sobre inversión (fondos, bróker y nuevos instrumentos como criptos).

- Tienes un sólido historial en asesoramiento sobre cuestiones relacionadas con la integridad.

- Posees habilidades analíticas y buen juicio.

- Tienes mentalidad “can do” y capacidad para asumir retos en un entorno complejo y en constante cambio.

- Cuentas con titulación universitaria.

- Tienes un nivel excelente de inglés y español (oral/escrito).

- Posees una mentalidad curiosa e innovadora.

- Tienes excelentes habilidades de colaboración y capacidad para trabajar de forma transversal, tanto funcional como geográficamente.

- Eres firme cuando es necesario y sabes mostrar flexibilidad cuando es posible.
