Sustainability Compliance Specialist – Barcelona (1-Year Contract)Hourly Rate: €15.67Location: Barcelona (Office Presence Required)⌛ Contract: Temporary, 1 YearA leading technology client is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Specialist to join their team in Barcelona. This is a 1-year temporary contract with office presence required.What You’ll Do:- Lead the detection, analysis, and implementation of sustainability regulations in the Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) regions. - Ensure compliance with regulations on WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco-design, waste shipment, supply chain responsibility, materials, climate, ESG, and the circular economy. - Support analysis of EU-level materials regulations (RoHS, REACH, PFAS) and contribute technical input to consultations and advocacy. - Collaborate with global teams to provide an overview of sustainability regulations impacting the business.What We’re Looking For:- Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on sustainability, environmental policy, or related fields. - Knowledge of sustainability policy and compliance requirements. - Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. - Excellent English communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. - Self-starter with analytical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability.Join a team driving sustainable solutions in a leading tech company and make a real impact on global compliance and environmental initiatives
