Investment Analyst – Funds of Funds
Tresmares Capital is a Pan-European growth-focused alternative asset manager with offices in Madrid (Spain), London (UK) and Frankfurt (Germany), with over €3.5bn funds under management. Comprising a team of over c.80 professionals, the firm offers a wide range of debt and equity solutions to both high-growth SMEs and private equity managers. Tresmares Capital establishes close relationships with SMEs and managers, providing them with flexible, transparent, and tailor-made solutions throughout the life cycle of each company.
At Tresmares Capital, we are looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join our Funds of Funds investment team in Madrid. Our investment strategy combines primary fund investments, secondary market transactions and direct co-investments.
As an Analyst you will actively participate in Tresmares’ investment process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support in research and analysis on potential investment opportunities
- Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate investment and key risk factors
- Assist in the preparation of financial due diligence
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials
- Tracking and monitoring of portfolio investments
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and reporting
Required qualifications:
- 12 -24 months of full-time experience in Funds of Funds, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services, or a related field
- Degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field from a Tier 1 European university
- Good understanding of corporate finance principles and investment concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in Spanish & English
