Senior BI Analyst - Job Description

**SCRM - LIDL **International **Hub**

About the role

As a BI Analyst, you will interact with big data architects, software developers, and business experts to understand how data needs to be converted, loaded, processed, and presented for LIDL analytics products.

You will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, performance in production and maintenance of the data-centric software including APIs, libraries, toolbox

**In this Role, you’ll get to**

Development to industrialize the following workflow:

- Dashboard development and maintenance in an international project.
- Design and development of efficient models from a data warehouse.
- ETL development needed to feed models.
- Script development to load data.
- Build apps and or objects in Power BI.
- Work on dashboard refreshes’ plan.
- Document processes, data structure, content, and models from both technical and business point of view.

**Required Skills**:

- Language Required: advanced SQL, Valuable: Python.
- Big Data Platforms Required: Databricks or Snowflake.
- Data Base: relational (SQL Server).
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Control Version with Git.
- As a bonus, knowledge of DBT, Airflow, Azure or Spark framework.
- Passion for learning new tools, languages, and frameworks.
- Ability to be creative and innovation-minded, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Fast adaptation to changing requirements and strong problem-solving skills.
- To work in a collaborative model, side by side with the business.
- Fluency in English to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience managing large volume data.
- MS’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in Big Data Frameworks.
