AIS International School follows the British National Curriculum with Steiner Waldorf orientation and Mindfulness.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Studies and P.E. Teacher who resonates with the ethos of our school. This is a full-time position and involves Tutor responsibilities to a KS3/KS4 year group.

**Essential requirements are**:

- Be a fully qualified teacher with experience of the British National Curriculum. (PGCE or QTS)
- Have interest in the Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy and/or other holistic educational approaches.
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver teaching in English confidently.
- Be a vital part of a growing teaching team and promote the school to parents and the wider community.

**Desired requirements are**:

- Have experience in teaching IGCSEs (Edexcel/Cambridge).
- Have knowledge and experience of Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy.
- Have interest in the incorporation of mindfulness in education.
- Have the ability to communicate in Spanish.

We hold parents meetings every month either as individual meetings with the class tutors or as a whole class. Our parents are invited into school regularly for fairs and celebrations and we encourage them to participate alongside us in their organization. We have parents as class representatives who work together with us to ensure the smooth running of the school. Another popular event with our pupils are the family excursions, where we come together and enjoy walks into the surrounding countryside.

Children have the opportunity to learn in an outstanding natural setting where their day is intertwined with outdoor activities.
