will play a crucial role in developing workplace strategy solutions and leading client-facing engagements around the future of work and return to work, with heavy involvement in strategies such as placemaking. This role leads a team of regional Workplace Delivery Managers and partners with our client, the Global Workplace Design Lead. In addition to a consulting, planning and technical background, the role requires strong presentation and organizational skills and the flexibility to travel as required to fulfill the objectives of this role.
**What this job involves**:
- Be the key lead, partnering with client facing teams to develop, implement, & manage Workplace Strategy programs, globally.
- Being a great people leader - leading a team of regional Workplace Delivery Managers
- Lead key aspects of business development and consulting engagements
- Contribute to growth and differentiation of the practice by assisting in the development of “best practice” Workplace processes, approaches, tools and client deliverables
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current issues and trends in business, corporate real estate, workplace strategies and organizational development and through active participation in relevant industry forums and professional associations
**Relationship Management / Delivery**:
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and our client
- Act as escalation point for delivery issues
- Manage consistent delivery of Workplace and ensure high level of execution and client satisfaction
**People Management**:
- Responsible for end-to-end employee management for the Global team including the potential of; hiring, onboarding, leading, developing, and mentoring new team members as the practice grows.
- Manage direct reports and provide oversight/influence over additional staff as needed to deploy process/program changes.
- Develops a culture focused on clients, people and teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree - required*
- MBA, advanced degree and/or certifications - preferred*
- 10+ years’ related experience of Workplace strategy and related fields
- Concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
- Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- People management experience
**Knowledge & Abilities**:
- Ability to work cooperatively in an agile environment, including virtual collaboration with remote colleagues
- Managed multiple projects and coordinated activities by multiple individuals/groups
- Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results.
- Energetic, creative, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment; enjoys variety and challenges of consulting work
- Workplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting, working alongside cross-functional real estate, facilities, IT, HR, Finance and change management teams, would be highly valuable.
- Current knowledge of corporate enterprise IT infrastructure, tools and technologies desirable.
- Exposure to Six Sigma approaches and/or business process development desirable
