**General Description
We are looking for a driven and hands on Director of Compliance with experience in the Fintech scene, to lead the compliance program for Ria’s new Neobank. You will be key in Ria’s strategy to build out Ria’s wallet and omnichannel strategy. You will work closely with business, and the technology team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. You have experience in managing AML/CTF risks for payment accounts, issuance of electronic money and the issuance of payment instruments. Ideally, you have previously participated in the set up and launch of similar products and services.

**Key Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
Drafting and maintain all relevant compliance policies and procedures.

Developing and administering the compliance monitoring program, ensuring controls are in place to review all areas of operation adhere to compliance with regulatory requirements.

Providing guidance on regulatory requirements surrounding payment accounts, electronic money, and other store of value products.

Managing relationships with the Bank of Spain, SEPBLAC and other regulatory bodies.

Performing an AML Risk Assessment on the Neobank business.

Maintaining and implement AML policies and controls to tackle money laundering and fraud risks for the Neobank.

Overseeing and supporting the development and maintenance of Ria’s anti financial crime strategy. A large part of this is ensuring that FinCrime regulatory obligations are understood and that there are controls in place to comply with these regulations across the Neobank.

Providing regular updates on to senior management regarding the Neobank and Compliance.

Providing training on AML to Neobank employees.

Be the go-to person for the Business.

**Experience and Skills**

7 years or more experience in AML/CTF requirements and compliance practices.

Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Strong knowledge of FinTechs and electronic money institutions (EMIs).

Great written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.

Strong stakeholder management.

Strong change and project management skills, including the ability to manage time well, prioritise effectively and handle multiple deadlines.

Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the business.

Driven, proactive, high-energy, highly visible, and a positive can-do attitude.

You are fluent in English.
