The Internship Coordinator at the European School of Economics plays a vital role in connecting our students with invaluable real-world experiences aligned with their interests and career goals. As the Internship Coordinator, you will act as a key facilitator, responsible for matching students from diverse academic backgrounds with relevant internship opportunities. With a personalized approach, you will closely engage with each student to understand their interests, aspirations, and goals, and utilize this information to identify suitable internships that align with their unique skill sets.
Your responsibilities will include cultivating relationships with local, regional, national and international organizations to develop a robust network of internship providers. By staying abreast of industry trends, you will proactively seek out emerging opportunities and maintain an up-to-date database of potential placements. Through collaboration with faculty members, academic advisors, and industry professionals, you will ensure that internships are closely aligned with students' areas of study and career interests.
Furthermore, you will play an instrumental role in monitoring students' progress throughout their internship experiences, ensuring their learning objectives are being met, and providing ongoing support and mentorship as needed.
