Resource Manager Onshore Field Services Europe

The Resource Management department is responsible for the deployment planning and dispatch of field staff of our execution hubs to service projects within our region.
**A Snapshot of Your Day**
The Resource Manager is responsible for managing the resource coordinators and schedulers within our Onshore Field Services organization and reports directly to the Head of Onshore Field Services within Europe and Africa. This position plans, organizes, monitors, and pushes processes/resources to achieve our projects’ staffing demand.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- You are responsible for the deployment planning and deployment of the Field Service personnel based in 17 different countries.
- Build strong partnerships and communication with respective Centers of Competences within the FS global organization and our Project Management organization.
- Are the focal point of contact for all internal and external partners in region Europe & Africa for FS Scheduling topics. Collaborate between country organizations and headquarters, and between PM, Sales and FS Teams in the subregions.
- Ensure planning and execution of projects by enhancing the utilization of our regional resources.
- Analyze short-term and long-term workload for our execution hubs.
- Manage critical issues in case of conflicts (e.g. staff shortages, visa issues and team composition, project delays, etc.)
- Provide Field Service Managers with an up-to-date overview of personnel scheduled time and available capacity.
- Work with Field Service Managers to ensure personnel training needs, skills and skill levels are kept up to date.
- Coordination of contractor site assignments to ensure we further intensify our collaboration with strategic resource suppliers.
**What You Bring**
- 5+ years of personal (preferably hands on) experience in scheduling.
- Several years of experience in the international field service business.
- International experience in the field of international construction site and/or project business
- Some experience in the evaluation / selection / commissioning of subcontractors
- Excellent Project Planning skills.
- Experience in leading employees (professional and disciplinary)
- Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization.
- Resilience with strong communication skills
- Result orientated, critical thinking, coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong Team Player with excellent leadership capabilities and communication skills.
- Proficient in English
- Willingness to travel abroad (e.g. our Field Service Hubs / Subcontractor visits)

**About the Team**
SE GS EU&AF SO FST ‘Onshore Field Service’ is an integral part of the Field Service & Tooling organization in Europe and Africa. We are responsible to execute and staff Field Service projects within the subregion on Gas Services Distributed, Gas Service Central and Transformation of Industry Compression products and to potentially support outside the region on an ad hoc basis.
