Telephone Account Manager

To operate effectively as a Sales/Relationship Manager with a panel of appropriate Financial Advisers both new and existing accounts to acquire new business and maintain profitable business for LV=. The ability to present both over the telephone and face to face when required and sell the LV protection proposition, develop new leads as well as work with advisers to help develop their current protection business.

This is a Sales position - selling to and educating Financial Advisors on the LV product ranges. Primarily Home based role with a requirement to attend and present at roadshows and Network events when required.

**About you**:

- Skilled’ competency level in ‘Business Development’ demonstrating the ability to work unsupervised and to targets
- Personal attributes to include: good communication skills; professional personal presentation; the ability to listen, and have empathy with customer needs, numeracy and literacy, including the ability to write fluently.
- Excellent capability in the use of computer software such as Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Outlook; and appropriate LISS systems.
- Self-motivation, planning and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm, positive and reliability
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivery of client requirement
- Excellent capability in the use of computer software such as Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Outlook; and appropriate LISS systems.
- Would be ideal but not essential if you had experience within Financial Services
- Would be required to obtain R01 and R05 within the first 12 months of the role.

**Details**:

- To deliver agreed individual business goals from allocated regional panel. These will be identified and managed via a business plan and Key Account plans where appropriate.
- Achieve individual financial targets (where appropriate) for business volumes and premium income in accordance with the required business mix.
- Ensure that good customer outcomes and conduct risk are adhered to.
- Attend network events and roadshows when required and to provide face to face support.
- Develop consistent support from adviser firms, and increase the number of supporting advisers within a firm, and increase the breadth of protection products sold
- Exceed the required minimum levels of operational activity in all key areas. Minimum levels are set to achieve core business targets.
- Having an awareness of risk events and reporting these to the risk manager where appropriate.

Technical and Sales skills to enhance personal effectiveness and efficiency
- Achieve and maintain sales competence and LISS records in line with LV= standards
- Work as a member of the Sales team to achieve the corporate goal, placing the achievement of team and LV= goals above the achievement of personal goals
- Manage all business dealings (appointments, entertaining, record keeping, etc.) in accordance with the LV= compliance procedures
