This adventure is all about building brighter futures together. The Senior Group Reporting Accountant role forms part of our Finance team, based at our head office in Camberwell, Toorak Road with flexi work options.

The Senior Group Reporting Accountant role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group accounting and reporting. The position exists to support the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller and business to ensure financial, administrative, compliance, reporting and risk management functions are being undertaken by the company. The role is also to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial information and analysis is available to maximize the businesses efficiency and performance.

A day of play

Provide timely and accurate reporting information to Board/Executive team to allow effective decisions to be made in line with the business plan and objectives.
Ensure group consolidation for management reporting is completed on time to the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller.
Perform monthly review of financial results with country managers/country financial controllers. Manage reporting timelines for the global group and each country.
Lead with the management of year end audit and relationship with external auditors
Assist the Group Financial Controller and Group Reporting Manager in preparing the Board report accurately and on time
Lead covenant reporting and other reporting requirements to banks/lenders.
Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including written policies and procedures and guidance for all reporting and tax processes.
Preparation of Group cash flow forecasts and management of treasury-related tasks for the Group.

Your skills and experience

You have aligned experience in complex and technical accounting
The ability to manage continuous improvement and change by building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders are a must.
You have necessary degree qualifications such as CA or CPA or similar
You have a demonstrated technical accounting and tax experience from a large accounting firm or large corporate
