Job Title: Group Technical Accountant
Location: Hybrid, Barcelona
Galderma is looking for a Group Technical Accountant to work at our Barcelona Global Capability Center.
As Group Technical Accountant, you will work at a global level and ensure a true and fair view of financial data provided to all stakeholders of Galderma in compliance with the Galderma Accounting Manual as well as IFRS and facilitating timely and accurate preparation of Group reporting in line with the latest IFRS.
Key Tasks- Advise and review accounting treatment under IFRS for group complex business transactions including but not limited to M&A, Pensions, Impairment and Tax- Maintain high-quality, unified, and up-to-date group accounting policy, process and manual- Act as internal IFRS expert and provide technical accounting advise and training to all group accountants- Ensure the coordination and preparation of the Group Consolidated Financial Statements- Prepare and review internal and external reports, as well as analysis for management accounts- Researching on technical accounting matters and preparing technical accounting memos for internal stakeholders and the external auditors
Skills & Qualifications- Certified Public Accountant or ACCA with degree in business administration / Finance / Accounting.- At least 5 years experience in financial reporting with deep knowledge of IFRS obtained in a multinational group or consultancy company, pharmaceutical or retail industry experience a plus- Professional level English.- Experience with listed companies- Solution-oriented thinking, flexible and with a hands-on mentality- Adaptable and willing to learn, you will be working across different countries with different cultures
