Main Purpose :
To produce accounts to Balance sheet level and support the Accounts team ensuring the accounting functions are completed in an accurate & timely manner.
Job Description:
Produce monthly accounts to Balance Sheet Day to day support of the London Accounts Department Ensure monthly routines are completed Calculate & post monthly accruals, prepayments & depreciation Reconcile balance sheet accounts Submit VAT & Intrastat returns Preopare for year-end & audit Communicates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers, vendors, and customers Manages project activities, completing on time and budget Produce ad hoc reports when requested Other duties as required by management
Person Specification Skills:
ACCA or CIMA qualified or BA accounting.
Strong IT skills including Excel & Outlook Experience of Navision and/or Epicor software an advantage Second language English plus French beneficial Competencies:
Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyses information skilfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Planning/organizing, prioritizes and plans work activities, sets time efficiently plans for additional resources, sets goals and objectives, develops realistic action plans.
The ability to support and promote professional development in the team Ability to communicate confidently at all levels to both finance and non-finance colleagues Conditions: Temporary contract with subsequent incorporation into the company.
Full-time from Monday to Friday. Salary according to the candidate's worth
