The Aixial Group is an International Contract Research Organization (CRO), a member of the ALTEN Group, providing complex services in clinical trials (phase I-IV) and non-interventional studies. Our offices are located in France, UK, US, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Romania, and India.

The CRO occupies a unique position in the clinical research industry, not only as an expert in the operational delivery of clinical trials in complex disease areas including oncology, immuno-oncology, and cell therapy, but also as a developer of its own technologies for managing clinical data. This is a very exciting time to join as we are at the cutting edge, defining new and more efficient ways to design, capture, manage, review, and visualize clinical trial data.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented Bid Manager. This role can be home-based in EU where we have the ability to hire.

**Core Accountabilities**:
Assist with the creation, administration and overall management of Aixial Group contracts and proposals activities.

**Responsibilities include**:
Prepare proposals, contracts and contract amendments. Responsibilities include proposal and change order preparation, payment schedule generation, task order creation, internal budget and client grid completion.

Provide accurate and timely tracking and reporting of contract and proposal data.

Submit deliverables accurately and timely.

**Principal Responsibilities**:
Contracts, Proposals and Change Orders

Work with Subject Matter Experts (“SMEs”) in CRO Operations, Technology and Business Operations to prepare documentation for confidentiality agreements, proposals, contracts, and change orders

Manage the proposal or change order process, setting timelines for completion including critical path interim milestones and accountabilities, and contingencies in the event these milestones are not achieved. Proactively escalate issues and /or propose solutions to meet target delivery dates

Use technical and creative writing skills to ensure documentation clearly articulates Aixial Group attributes, service offerings and contractual limitations

Use commercial, fiscal and budgetary skills to develop budgets that match the service offering included in the proposal or change order. Includes ensuring contained costs are accurate and justifiable

Create payment schedules and terms to ensure cash neutrality and conformance with company standards for review with Senior Management

Liaise, directly or indirectly, with clients to revise proposals, contracts and change orders as requested

Quality check deliverable prior to submission to clients

Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested to assist the company management

2. Special Projects

Lead special projects to improve the quality of Aixial Group departmental procedures and tools.

3. Travel

Minimal travel may be required for internal training, internal meetings, and/or client meetings

**Essential Work Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge**:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business field, or a life science degree with equivalent work experience

Experience in a CRO or pharma/biotech outsourcing company in a similar role

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Excellent communication skills

**Desirable Work Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge**:
3+ years’ experience in a CRO or pharma/biotech outsourcing company in a similar role
