THE ROLE

The Accounts Receivable & Payable Manager is a multi-functional role within our newly set up Finance department, that will work alongside our sister agency's larger Finance department. Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (but with the added support of the AP and AR controllers), this role encompasses all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Within Accounts Receivable;
- Client Billing -Multi-Channel Billing for PPC/SEO/DATA/Display/Paid Social/Content/Connected across different entities. Onboarding of new Clients, Transition of Old Clients
- Processing company credit cards, ensuring all receipts are received
- Building relationships and ensuring clients adhere to payment terms, managing escalations/queries and complaints
- Sales Ledger Maintenance (ie: Cash Allocation / Receipt Posting / Journals to FX / Debtor Clear downs)
- Credit Checks, Credit Limits, Insurance
- Regular team contact, making sure all outstanding queries are resolved, and stakeholders are kept in the loop.
- Work alongside the Operations Team to identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency

Within Accounts Payable;
- Record and post supplier invoices daily to the nominal ledger ensuring the correct coding has been applied.
- Ensure all invoices have obtained internal approval within 30 days.
- Prepare regular supplier payment runs and any ad hoc payments to agreed deadlines
- Instruct overseas accountant to setup payments for another entities.
- Setup intercompany bank transfers.
- Resolve payment supplier queries within the agreed time frames.
- Prepare supplier statement reconciliation and support the resolution of discrepancies.

**Requirements**:
**You will have the following core skills and abilities**:

- Excellent communication skills
- International experience, used to dealing with Multi Currency transactions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self motivated, great time manager and a team player
- Proven experience in Credit Control and Billing within a similar company
- Confidence dealing with all levels of stakeholders within the Business
- Requisition, Procurement, Receiving processes Finance Systems
- Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)

**Ideally, (a nice to have) you'll have experience in the below**:

- ICM Qualification (or working towards)
- Experience working with Sage 200/ Maconomy
- Understanding of Accounts Payable principles (although training can be provided)
