**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology or similar. Also Master in Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or similar
- Accreditation to perform experimental research in animal models
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: **

At least 4 years in vector production of Adeno-associated virus

At least 4 years of experience in in vivo administration and in vivo manipulation

At least 4 years of experience in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qPCR, RNA manipulation,

Western, cloning, digestion with restriction enzymes, etc.

At least 4 years of experience in behavioral tests and in memory tests

At least 4 years of experience in electrophysiologic tests, nerve conduction tests and motor-function tests

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Generation and administration of viral vectors
- Sample analysis and interpretation of results

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: 10 march 2023
- Gross annual salary: 23.065** **euros. Salary range is consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract**:until the 31st of December 2023***
- Permanent contract will be made if one of the assumptions established in the General State Budget of 2020 is fulfilled.

Otherwise, the position will be temporarily covered by an interim contract until the fiscal and financial measures

established by General Budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the basic regulations of the General State Budgets

authorize a new call for the place with an indefinite contract.
