**Job Purpose**:
Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities

**Responsibilities**:

- Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction
- ** Negotiation** of key tenders and large deals wi th complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
- Optimises results by** driving sales **out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives
- Demonstrates a solid customer engagement strategy including multiple parties and levels that drives successful business outcomes
- Take solution and service offerings to market including TaaS and ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution
- Drives overall **vendor management** Creates customer unique selling propositions that protects Margin integrity and promotes long term value based customer engagement
- Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share
- Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the **"Trusted Advisor"**:

- ** Develops tailored customer value propositions** against clear understanding of customer business requirements
- Maintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor's product / service line

**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:

- Good emotional intelligence with **strong communication** skills, both oral and written
- 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background
- Strong orientation towards and **experience in services and solution selling **with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience
- Experience of working within a matrix structure, self-management, High energy and motivation
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, **think out of the box**, be assertive and drive tasks to completion
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and **build solid, effective working relationships with others**.
- Strong** Excel **skills
- Strong Power Point skills
- Experience with** peripherals** **Networking** Category
- High level of English (required) Other EU Languages (a plus)
