**Job Purpose**

The Head of Brand & Marketing is one of the key leaders responsible for maintaining Vueling as the preferred low-cost airline in our core markets, while generating awareness, interest and excitement for the brand in the markets where we are expanding.

**Main Accountabilities**

The Head of Brand & Marketing is accountable for the entire scope of Vueling marketing activities, with the purpose of:

- Driving awareness, consideration and/or preference in our key markets
- Stimulating sales through campaigns and promotions
- Evolving, strengthening, and safeguarding the Vueling Brand

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Develop and execute the global marketing strategy, giving Vueling a consistent voice across all markets and all commercial communication channels
- Design and execute multiple campaigns per year, leveraging offline, digital and social media platforms, in order to generate awareness for the Vueling brand and products
- Stimulate sales by launching frequent, tactical price promotions
- Plan and execute high visibility, disruptive, creative, low-cost marketing activations in line with the Vueling Brand personality
- Evolve and execute social media strategy across all platforms, including content creation and community management
- Identify, develop and leverage high profile partnerships to boost brand engagement and awareness
- Allocate and manage the marketing budget
- Lead, manage and develop the Marketing team members
- Analyse and report key performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage relationship with creative and media agencies

**Main Relationships**

The Head of Brand & Marketing and their team work together with all teams in the Commercial, Customer, Network & Strategy (CCNS) department and its leaders, in particular Revenue Management, Network, Ecommerce and Customer.

Outside of the CCNS department, the Head of Brand & Marketing frequently works with Vueling’s Communications, People and Operations departments. Externally, the main relationships are with our creative and media agencies, as well as events, influencers, media vendors, institutions and airports.

**Education**
- University degree

**Experience**
- 7+ years’ experience in proven track record across the marketing domain including creative design, social media, digital advertising, Google Marketing Platform (DV360, campaign manager 360, analytics)
- 3+ previous experience in management positions of large Marketing and Brand teams.
- Understanding of Spanish consumer preferences and behaviour

- Creative mind, ability to think outside of the box, challenge current way of working
- Pro-active, ability to identify opportunities and generate marketing ideas without guidance
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage and motivate team of experienced marketing professionals
- Strategic mindset, ability to translate Vueling strategy into a supporting marketing plan
- Great interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability working across different teams in the organization
- Native proficiency in English, at a minimum basic Spanish, other European languages are a plus
