**Position Summary**:
The Account Manager will report to the Sales Manager being responsible for managing the sales & project activities for the assigned customer.
Main focus:
- Manage Project Planning. (APQP, feasibility, homologation follow up)
- Engineering concept verification at own account
- Support quality issues with customer (design related)
- Have a technical contact to the customer
- Nurtures customer relationships that provide insight and a landscape where ITW has a competitive advantage through our “cradle to grave” relationships.
- Communicate with other accounts and innovation team
Other Tasks:
- Identify key opportunities at their OEM's related to Core Products, Core Competencies (Clipping instead of screwing), Existing adjacencies and opportunities that require fast actions
- Organize Project Acquisition (strategic focus)
- Work together with the S&Ei Manager and the Sales Manager he supports strategic planning including comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to understand the market niche, product development and penetration opportunities for ITW.
- Support the ITW innovation strategies to identify opportunities utilizing the ITW Toolbox.
- Demonstrate personal effectiveness and leadership that creates a culture of high performance.
- Manage External Marketing (Build presentation materials, Leaflets)
- Defend offer (Calculation Analysis, Cost Break Down, final price)
- Nurtures an environment consistent with the ITW values and culture.

**Position Skills and Experience Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree - in Business or Engineering, preferred.
- Fluency in English, (German or French) and Spanish is a must.
- Relevant experience in engineering management and/or project management will be strongly valued.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is highly valued.
- Proven track record of projected innovative diversified products is desired (APQP).
- Product Cost analysis experience is a plus (Calculation, Cost Break Down).
- Ability to identify potential future products and trends.
- Able to identify pain points at customer and convert these into opportunities to sell differentiated value-added solutions.
- Able to build and maintain constructive and long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Proven ability to manage complexity and change.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote region.
- Proven ability to generate respect and trust.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues creating a result-driven, team-oriented and company-first environment.
- Personally, driven and motivates others to excel.

The position is based in our Mikalor facility in the Sabadell area and allows a degree of home office.
The position requires travel, mainly in Germany.
