Account Payable Team Lead

**What You'll Do**:
Management
- Management of team of 6/7 AP accountants (Manage, Recruit, Onboard, Animate, Engage, Develop, Performance)
- Back-up AP Manager in her absence
- Support AP team with expert advice / Mentor
- Ensure payable transactions are properly accounted and the accounts payable balance is reconciled
- Assists the accounts payable manager to establish and implement processing procedures for the accounts payables unit, monitors and adjusts staff workloads, sets priorities and resolves technical problems.

Invoice Processing
- Book invoices within 48 hours, ensuring data accuracy
- Follow-up Readsoft invoice approvals and regularly remind approvers
- Ensure bank details and payment terms accuracy and contact VMD
- Invoice booking problem solving, deal with all invoice disputes in timely manner
- Vendor accounts cleaning (direct debits, downpayments, debit/credit balances )
- Accompany suppliers + Business on processes and procedures
- Contact all relevant teams for resolution of issues
- Report all SAP mis-behaviours
- Follow-up refunded and rejected payments
- SOX compliance

Payment runs
- Prepare and issue payment proposals according to Treasury payment calendar, ensuring data accuracy
- Follow-up downpayments to avoid duplicate payments
- Check and Execute AP team’s payment runs

Vendor and Internal Queries
- Respond to all queries within 48 hours
- Be available, diplomatic and patient in all situations
- Offer excellent quality service to all external and internal correspondents
- Regularly remind AP procedures whenever necessary to all external and internal correspondents
- Organise regular Zoom/Slack meetings whenever necessary

**Who You Are**:

- Previous experience of Team Management
- Good written and oral level of English compulsory
- Good SAP knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
