Director, European Mobile Business Unit

**This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and shape the strategic direction of our European Mobile Business Unit while fostering strong relationships and driving growth in a competitive market. This key role in the business will Manage an EU Portfolio of Mobile vendors, with key focus on our Google relationship. Drive Geo extension of existing portfolio Android Mobile vendors and develop and implement value proposition for mobile into BTB channels (Android Enterprise Gold). In addition to Program management of GAPP (Google partner BTB program). Supporting countries with local Mobile vendor development and Optimizing FEM and BEM conditions with Pan-European framework agreements with mobile vendors. **Accountabilities**
- **Total Profit and Loss Ownership**:Understand, influence, and achieve financial objectives.
- ** Senior Relationship Management**:Foster strong relationships with all vendors and customers.
- ** Strategic Direction**:Set the strategic direction for the Business Unit(s) in collaboration with key European leadership.
- ** Input into Company Strategy**:Provide valuable insights and direction to shape company strategy and direction.
- ** Directional Input**:Contribute to purchasing, sales, and pricing policies.
- ** Team Leadership**:lead, manage, and coach staff to achieve Business Unit objectives.
- ** Innovation and Planning**:Contribute new ideas for strategic and operational planning and execution.
- ** Vendor Relationship Management**:Serve as the escalation point of contact for all vendors in the Business Unit; develop and manage vendor business plans.
- ** Market Growth Strategies**:Identify market growth opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- ** Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Ownership**:Take ownership of the annual operating plan for business unit(s).
- ** Market Share and Growth Targets**:Drive share of wallet (market share) and market growth targets.
- ** Divisional Business Plans**:Fully own divisional business plans.
- ** Key Channel Relationships**:Develop and nurture key channel relationships.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**:Engage with internal key stakeholders up to board level.
- ** Visibility and Profile**:Enhance the visibility and profile of the business unit both internally and externally.
**To succeed in the role, these skills will help you:
- Understanding of the mobile industry, and proficient in executive vendor and customer engagement.
- Experience in P&L ownership, proficient in commercial negotiation and highly numerate with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong decision-making abilities matched with strong relationship building.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities and expertise in business planning and review.
- Ability to impact and influence across functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Experience in people management and development up to senior management level is essential.
- Languages required: English and other Eu languages a high plus
