Purpose

The Market Access Manager will be responsible for market access strategy development, market access value story generation, market access projects and integration of all market access-related activities in Spain. Driving the commercial value of the assigned products through developing global pricing strategies that allow brand value maximization with broad market access and desired reimbursement status.

Key Tasks
- Develop a complete understanding of MA situation in the therapeutical area landscape (driving forces, political insight, economic trends, laws, MA activities).
- Analyze trends, initiatives and evolution scenarios per product (e.g., outcomes for regional HTA, options analysis for decision making).
- Understand and assess stakeholders' needs, competitor activities, medical unmet needs and economic situation.
- Develop the Spanish product market access value story generation aligned with global value strategy and brand value story.
- Develop materials for stakeholder visits (national, regional, account levels), in line with product MA value story.
- Lead implementation of market access projects at national and international level.
- Collaborate with regional and account teams to implement regional/account projects and present to payers / key stakeholders.
- Develop the MA brand strategy, as part of the annual brand plan, through close cross-functional collaboration (PMs, Medical, P&R).
- Drive the development of global pricing scenarios by assessing the outcome of pricing research studies.
- Develop lifecycle management pricing strategies, create and execute price defense strategies, evaluate price changes and support reactive and proactive pricing decisions.
- Support and educate field-based teams on market access issues.

**Qualification & Competencies**:

- Market access experience of at least 2 years.
- Experience in complex and matrixed organizations, and leading key initiatives across franchises and functions.
- Strong business and strategic vision, understanding the business and its main drivers.
- Creativity, capacity to innovate and think differently.
- Strong management skills ability to integrate and work across functions, planning, organization and coordination.
- Interpersonal skills, being able to manage diverse relations and work with peers.
- Experience in developing and managing market access projects and programs and health sciences knowledge is an advantage.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
