The role you’ll play
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable trainee to join our Finance team in Valencia, Spain Here you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy in all transactions related to the Company’s Accounts Receivable area.

We expect you to join our traineeship program starting early October 2024.

The team you’ll be a part of
You will be part of a dynamic, international and high performing department located in 5 different offices across Europe: Copenhagen, Leuven, Paris, and Valencia.
You will work as part of the Accounts Receivable team, being mentored daily by one of the Accounts Receivable Specialists located in Valencia. This team reports to the Accounting Director, taking ownership end to end invoicing process collaborating with our Customer Success teams to ensure an excellent experience for our customers.

If you want to make a difference, make it with us by
- Processing and supporting the sales functions, including liaising with operations and customer success teams and processing manual invoices if required
- Prepare accounting related entries to registers, journals and logs
- Follow (and implement) accounting processes and policies
- Support accounts receivables activities (including collections) to ensure in accuracy and timeliness of receipts entries and collections
- Research, understand and provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
- AR & Collections: monitor overdue balances and follow up with customers
- Collaboration in Financial Statements closing process for all companies of the Group
- Preparation of materials for year-end audits - assisting external auditors

After your Trainee Program, you’ll know you were successful if
- You have successfully taken responsibility on Accounts Receivable
- You maintain a successful collaboration with Finance and Commercial colleagues
- You’re identified improvement areas and implemented changes

What you’ll need to bring
- University Education in Accounting, Administration, Finance or similar
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- You are a team player who embraces ad-hoc projects with a positive attitude
- Possibility to sign a traineeship agreement with the University you are enrolled in with a duration from 4-7 months.

This will make you stand out
- Languages like German, Spanish, French, Danish or Swedish would be an advantage
- Proficient Excel knowledge is a plus (pivots, formulas, macros)
