**About The Role**:
The Finance Manager’s mission is to ensure coordination and leadership of local Finance activities in Operations to ensure the continuity of the department's own processes. In addition, performs economic analysis of Operations and reporting of economic-financial information to local and global leadership teams.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Finance Manager, your main functions will be:
**Team management**
- Supervise employees in charge of financial and accounting activities.
- Organize and prioritize the tasks of the team in charge.
- Animate Finance function through the evolution of the collaborators and their training.
**Financial information**
- Prepare and defend Plant’s Annual Budget in accordance with the Strategic Plan of ZimVie group and general management.
- Be the guarantor of the reliability of the reporting: prepare the monthly and quarterly results, analyze the deviations from budget and previous year.
- Communicate monthly financial results to Management and propose lines of improvement if necessary.
- Yearly set-up on Standard costs calculations and monthly deviations analysis.
- Perform cost variance analysis at plant level.
- Produce financial statements for the ZimVie group, legal authorities and manage financial communication.
- Design and collect feedback on business results.
- Communicate evolution on plant savings and study and evaluate possible cost reduction initiatives for the plant.
- Supervise KPI (Key Performance Indicators) calculations.
**Accounting**
- Application of US GAAP and Spanish GAAP.
- Validate the accounting closings and the main choices in terms of closing.
- Validate the tax choices with the tax specialist and external auditors.
- Treasury management.
- Review Tax forms.
- Guarantee the security of financial flows.
**Management control**
- Define the main orientations of the controls and key indicators to be put in place and the reporting framework intended for the general management.
- Set up and improve procedures for managing and optimizing the flow of financial information and guaranteeing their reliability.
- Prepare presentations to the management committee of ZimVie.
**Information system**
- Manage the ERP implementation of the finance and accounting information system and monitor its progress.
**Internal control**
- Ensure the existence and effectiveness of measures intended to reduce exposure to risks.
**Education/Experience Requirements For This Role**:
- At least, 10 years’ experience in Finance, especially in industrial, multinational environment. In addition, 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a leadership role. Experience in Steering Committee is an asset.
- Qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A postgraduate in Cost Control, Accounting, or related field is an asset.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office (Excel). ERP SAP; Oracle Cloud is desirable.
- Strong data analysis skills. Power BI is desirable.
