**About the role**

As a Plant Director at albelli-Photobox Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing or production plant. Your strategic leadership will drive operational excellence, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you will oversee day-to-day plant operations, manage budgets, and lead a competent team to achieve exceptional results.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement long-term strategies for the plant, aligning with overall organizational objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and maintenance.
- Manage the plant budget, monitor expenses, and optimize costs without compromising quality and safety.
- Build and lead a competent team, including supervisors, managers, and production staff, promoting a positive work culture.
- Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, engineering teams, and other departments, to align plant operations with organizational objectives.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the plant's performance and progress towards goals.
- Deal with unexpected events, such as equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, or emergencies, and take appropriate action to minimize their impact on plant operations. Coordinate response efforts to ensure business continuity.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the plant team, promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, aligning plant operations with broader organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Mitigate risks and ensure business continuity in the face of unforeseen events or challenges.

**Experience and Attributes we’d like to see**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Significant experience in leading manufacturing performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem-solving, and team building.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience interfacing with the broader Supply Chain and Commercial functions.
- Strong people leadership experience.
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

**Nice to Have Experience**:

- Experience at the Front Line and/or Manufacturing Manager level.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, logistics, customer service, category management, and sales.
