**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**ONE EUROPE is looking for a ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT LEAD, based in our SPAIN, PORTUGAL, UK or POLAND office.**

Our One Europe vision is to create a better bank, where our customers and our people feel a deep connection with Santander, while at the same time generating value for our shareholders and for society. The following countries will be considered as locations for incorporation: Spain, Portugal, UK and Poland.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**As One Europe Enterprise Architect Lead **will be responsible for defining architectural principles and patterns in Europe and leading the EDA (European Design Authority), as the main body in Europe to drive European IT architecture to high standards compliance aligned to Group technology strategy, to accelerate the implementation of the IT vision and the bases on which our transformation is built, in coordination with the integrating countries (Spain, UK, Poland & Portugal).

One Europe Enterprise Architect Lead will report to the One Europe CTO (direct) and Global Head of Business Platform (dotted).

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Lead the EDA (European Design Authority) for European projects, to ensure the right architecture and Edelweiss compliance, aligned with Global IT Stack and Domain reference architectures, according to the Europe Strategic Principles and maximizing communality and reuse across countries.
- Guarantee that the European regional tribes architecture deliverables comply with high standards for all technical solutions and components. She/he relies on European Technical Platform team and functional owners for the different architectural layers (technical architecture, data, infrastructure, security, monitoring & observability ) and European projects IT Leaders.
- Coordinate with Local DA´s (Design Authorities), supporting the European countries on their IT strategy adoption plans, to accelerate the implementation of the IT vision and the basis on which our transformation is built. Ensure that the local architectures are aligned with globally approved reference architectures.
- Establish the architecture requirements of One Europe shared services as well as external providers.
- Identify opportunities to improve models and processes across technology and architecture lifecycle, in terms of service quality, agility, efficiency and delivery to business, reinforcing our transformation.
- Follow market technology, benchmarking and industry trends and their implications for the overall IT architecture. Build and develop the right relationships with key industry players, technology vendors and partners.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 8+ years of experience in large scale technology environments
- Good understanding of the competitive landscape within Global Bank / Financial Services and business models.
- Understanding disruptive technologies and their potential impact to the business.
- Expertise in managing and influencing large scale change programmes working with diverse teams.
- Deep experience in business / client and data orientation
- Promoter of change, generating trust and building effective networks, to build and develop a high standard technology strategy.
