Job Title: Distribution Centre Manager

Division : Weir Minerals

Location: Madrid, Spain, Onsite

Purpose of Role:
The Distribution Centre Manager is a key role in a Weir distribution centre. Responsibilities are in health and safety, organising and management of the stock held in the site, and managing inbound and outbound deliveries. This role will report to Supply Chain Project Manager and has responsibility for multiple Warehouse Operators as direct reports. This role will also have accountability to a local manager for territory specific issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that warehouse operations health and safety demands and targets are fulfilled- Manage the stock on site in all aspects- Coordinate with members of the regional supply chain and other teams to understand and execute the plan- Work closely with other stakeholders to support region’s stock agreements arrangements for customers- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:- Experience of working within a warehousing or distribution environment- Experience of writing with and observing safety and security procedures- Spanish and English
