VHIR offers a contract to work as a **Project Manager** in different **national and international projects related in “Brain**
**damage biomarkers**"** **within the Neurovascular Research Group. Our lab is focused in stroke research from a basic and
translational point of view. The group is composed by a young and highly motivated group of researchers: neurologists,
biologists, technicians, statisticians, psychologists and nurses. Our work is divided into four lines of research: Biomarkers,
Prevention, Neurorepair and Amyloid. This position will give support to an ISCIII project, in Biomarkers and
Neuroprotection line.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience, Health Sciences or similar (Biomedicine, Biology etc.)
- M.Sc (Master of Science) in Translational Biomedicine Research or similar.

**Desired:
***Previous experience in International projects management (European Grants Horizon 2020).

**Position description**:
We are looking for a Project Manager who will work in Clinical Research. The Project aims to search for the
replication of several brain damage biomarkers which will be used for the management of patients with stroke in
the ambulance by identifying those with Large Vessel Occlusion that have to be transferred to a thrombectomy
center and also for the management of mild traumatic brain injury in hospitals. The tasks are similar to those
performed by a clinical trial monitor or coordinator but in this case the work is not related with a drug but with the
a team with biologists, technicians and clinicians and other project manger leading these multicentric studies.

**Experience and knowledge**:

- Experience in biological samples manipulation.
- Clinical Trials / Clinical studies regulatory knowledge.
- High level of English to communicate fluently with international collaborators.
- Availability to travel for monitoring and sites initiation visits.
- Knowledge on APPs and electronic CRF.

- Study coordination, data management, regulatory affairs, eCRF update, data collection.
- Data analysis, statistics, and interpretation of results.
- Write reports and prepare presentations of the results and research conclusions.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position (40h/week)
- Starting date: January 2023
- Length of the contract: _permanent linked to project_
- Gross annual salary: 24.785,40 € year. (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
