**Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group**

VHIR offers a position for a **Laboratory Technician within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group **to

participate in the project “DESARROLLO DE EDL6D, UN PÉPTIDO MIMÉTICO DE SHBG PARA EL TRATAMIENTO

DE LA ENFERMEDAD DEL HÍGADO GRASO (NAFLD) Y LA ESTEATOHEPATITIS NO ALCOHÓLICA (NASH)”

(EDL6D4NASH CPP2022-009831).

Laboratory Technician

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 3 years of experience working as laboratory technician.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques (histology, WB, immunofluorescence, cell culture).

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Processing of samples from in vitro and in vivo studies.
- Participating in the laboratory tasks (i.e. RNA and protein isolation, PCR, western blot analyses, etc).
- Supporting lab organization.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediately
- Gross annual salary: 24.000 € (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are
consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract**:Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
