**Location Spain**: This position could be located in any of our Plants in Spain: Barcelona, Arevalo, Redondela, Valencia or Tudela.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

A Global Domain Manager is responsible for leading the purchasing of Categories of his/her Domain worldwide for all Plastic Omnium entities. His/her primary objectives is to considerably increase the Purchasing performance of the Domain either by acting directly, or by influencing / managing actors in all Regions and in all PO entities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide energy market analysis and issue recommendations to the General Management on hedging matters in a highly volatile context, as well as on the carbon neutrality roadmap for scopes 1&2 (CEO, EXCO, MACO, BU, Division, Shareholders)
- Identify and promote energy savings best practices across the Group, to meet the Sustainability and Economical objectives
- Supervision and management of Energy Buyer
- Deploy long-term energy strategy and short-term tactical deployment, to ensure sustainability ambition of becoming climate-neutral by 2025 (Scope 1 & 2)
- Coordination of Offsite Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) at the worldwide level (legal, tax, accounting, financial, procurement, sustainability aspects)
- Assist PO sites in the deployment of Onsite PPAs (RFQ, analysis, regulation, permits, legal, insurance, negotiation) at worldwide level (Scope : NE, IES, CES, POL & HBPO)
- Contribution to ISO 50001 / ISO 14001 certification (Energy & Environmental)
- Exploring new approach to reduce our electricity use environmental impact: new solutions with no CAPEX such as Electricity Storage, CHP (Combined Heat and Power)
- Identify the most appropriate sustainable energy technologies: On-site, windmills, biomass projects, cogeneration and other renewable energies
- Find out which of them make the most sense for: reaching our sustainability goals, achieving good rates-of-return, improving our security-of-supply
- Scan the potential of our different sites regarding:

- Economics: investment costs, savings potential on total cost of energy, subsidies.
- Technical aspects: availability of resources such as wind, solar or biomass, availability of project partners.
- Regulatory aspects: government obligations and possibilities / restrictions for obtaining permits.
- Investigate storage cost (Batteries, H2) and alternatives technologies
- Trade green commodities: Buy green electricity certificates at worldwide level based on government obligations - EACs (GOs, RECs, I-RECs ), allocation aligned with OEM requirements
- Scope 1: Book high quality carbon credit to compensate our emissions, recognized by SBTi as a way to reach Net zero
- Engage globally with renewable energy project developers, commodity brokers, and other market participants in identifying solutions for PO to offset scope 1
- Stay informed on industry initiatives, new projects, and market developments, regulatory evolutions
