**Role**:Senior Consultant - Oil & Gas

**Location**: Spain, Madrid preferable.

**About the role**

In this role you will collaborate with Cognizant's country leaders and client partners to grow Cognizant's Consulting business with existing and new clients in Oil & Gas industry.

You will lead multiple engagements, leading and delivering large transformational programs.

You will be part of a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment well supported by a wider global Energy, and Utilities practice in the UK, US, CE and in APAC.

**What will be your main responsibilities in this role?**

Marketing-Making and Thought Leadership:

- Leverage his/her existing network of Energy/Oil and Gas CxOs/Middle managers in the Spain to grow our Energy business
- Identify leads or oversee the development of customer-facing business solutions and offerings
- Determine, develop and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients
- Identify client opportunities to bring additional value and accelerate up outcomes.
- Develop solutions for complex client situations to achieve goals & objectives as well as deliver results on time
- Build trust-based client relationships to manage expectations and facilitate client decision-making

Delivery Management
- Manage the Consulting practice for Oil and Gas in Spain.
- Lead complex end-to-end projects to timely deliver services, revenue, cost and risk improvements in line with project and business objectives of our clients.
- Deliver concise and effective communications to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Accountable for managing & growing a customer base and sustainable revenue stream
- Expand and identify current and new business projects by strengthening client relationships

Practice Building:

- Develop thought leadership and methodologies in collaboration with international colleagues to build the practice through proactive pitches
- Attract, recruit, develop and retain talent
- Contribute to building the most exciting and rewarding consulting environment
- Manage and execute large strategic deals, proposals and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Extensive experience in consulting for Oil & Gas.
- Have core skills in at least 2-3 areas: Digital Transformation, Energy Transition, EV, Gas and LNG Trading, Field services, Asset management, Upstream and digital oil fields
- Deep understanding on the spectrum of other Energy Domains like Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Marketing & Sales Commercial, Refineries, Renewables and new energy systems
- Deliver revenue and margin growth targets
- Ability to create joint value propositions per accounts with our partners (like SAP, AWS, Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Oracle etc.)
- Facilitating and driving co-innovation with clients and partners
- Experience in managing and executing large strategic deals, proposals and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level
