**Function Overview**:
The Planet technology team is driving the modernization of the core infrastructure that is revolutionizing how the global hospitality, retail and connected commerce industry operates. We work with the latest technologies using modern design, development, and delivery practices. Our teams excel at being on the forefront of transforming the connected commerce industry.
**Role Overview**:
This new role will be responsible for leading the Identity and Access Management operational and enhancement aspects including. You’ll drive strategic decisions and continuous improvements to our Identity and Access controls and technical leadership. You’ll also be responsible for all technical delivery of work related to IAM tools and services from joiner, provisioning, re-certification, dormancy, movers, and leavers. Fundamentally you will ensure security is central to service delivery, not an afterthought.
**What you will do**:
Management of Planet’s IAM platforms and solutions.
Oversee and own relationship with third-party service providers who support these services.
Scheduling and implementing regular recertification reviews across the organisation.
Work with IT Assurance and Audit functions to respond to requests for information and coordinate remediation activities.
Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to provide best in class service delivery that enables employees to execute against Planet strategy and meet its goals.
Encourage a data-driven approach among the team as part of their management of the service such as in proactively identifying and mitigating issues using tooling and detecting trends from reporting to target improvements to customer experience.
Make decisive decisions on difficult issues that may impact the organisation.
**Who you are**:
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a technical role managing hybrid identity management platforms and environments.
Experience in running and delivering transformation to IAM Services.
Administration and support experience of the following solutions: Okta, CyberArk, Workday.
Demonstratable knowledge of Identity Management across various Cloud services, IaaS, SaaS and Active Directory, Azure Active Directory.
Knowledge of Identity Protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP).
Passionate about service / security - keeps up to date on the latest news and trends.
Demonstrable ability to distil complex, often technical, security issues into a management set of options and / or recommendation.
Understanding of key Cyber Security technical controls and cloud concepts.
Approaches tasks and problems in an organised, methodical manner.
Deep experience of key service management, operations, security, technology and project standards, methodologies, and best practices such as ITILv3/4, Agile, ISO/IEC 27001.
Stakeholder Management, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed of onboarding activities and building relationships with key IT stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstratable experience of cross functional working.
Strong supplier management experience involving the large/global service integrators, outsourcers, and technology organisations.
