At WSP Spain we want to incorporate a Technical Advisor and Engineer specialist in Decommissioning and Demolition into our Industrial team for the development of an important industrial project of a power plant located in Portugal.

Main tasks of this position are working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and, in field, supervising execution activities, being part of the owner engineering team.

**Functions**:

- Ensuring project implementation according to Mondelēz standards, local legislation, NFPA / FM standards and GRC requirements with support of Cluster Engineering Responsable de su correcto montaje.
- Cooperation with Plant team encompassing: HSE (zero LTA and environmental pollutions), industrial safety (full cooperation), controlling (assets and write-off), project cost control, planning (shutdowns alignment), M&R, production; procurement team (bidding processes); HSE, insurance consultants (recommendations, approvals and final tests) and local authority (permission, agreements).
- Preparation of the regular messages/presentations on the status of the project implementation
- Accountability for CAPEX budget planning and spending, annually. Ownership of timing and execution of the project.

**Requirements**:

- At least 12 years of experience
- University education (Bachelor’s degree) / University education (Master’s degree) preferably with technical background, preferably in Mining or Civil Engineering.
- Accredited experience in Decommissioning and Demolition of thermal power plants (preferably coal).
- Supervision of subcontractors.
- English - spoken and written.

**Desired requirements**:

- Some experience on nuclear facilities decommissioning processes is required, mainly in licensing, planning, auxiliary systems, and costs.
- Availability to travel.
- Team management.
