Finance Apprentice

**Job Description Summary**: Reporting to Finance Manager, supporting Spain and Portugal.

Responsible of supporting project teams managing financial aspects of a project: reporting, budget, accounting etc

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Set-up, maintenance and monitoring/controlling projects in functional ERP SAP (PS, FI).
- Build & Support Forecast and prepare periodical Project reviews.
- Control of figures to ensure Monthly Reporting deadlines.
- Full knowledge of the project´s indicators with regards to revenue, margin, cost deviations, estimated cost at completion (EAC) etc.
- Support Project Managers (PM) in the controlling/financial management of projects.
- Analyze with project managers the gaps detected contributing to the optimization of Company profits.
- To maximize standardization. Participate in the optimizing of cash management.
- INTERCO Process.
- Bonds management.
- Collaborate with other business functions to drive resolution of operational issues.
- Participate in process improvement, quality and lean activities.

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor's degrees in finance or accounting
- or equivalent knowledge or experience
- SAP knowledge would be considered
- Spanish and English fluent mandatory
- ** Office work is essential** (min. twice a week - rest is possible in remote)
- Based in Madrid as mandatory.
