In this role of a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of the global “Reporting and Analytics” team within Group Investment Management. You will collaborate closely with business users in different countries and translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyse interrelationships of business processes, complex data and financial systems, define IT specifications and implement reporting front-end solution for our global end user base.

**Your role**

**As a Senior Data Analyst**
**your main responsibilities will involve**:

- Design and implement data products and generate insights for a global client base
- Create analytical end to end solutions by extracting, transforming, modelling and visualizing data
- Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
- Analysis of reporting & analytics business requirements and translation into functional and technical solution specifications
- Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions
- Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services and infrastructure.
- Provide end-user support/training for global reporting needs
- Ensure compliance, governance, and data quality

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a Senior Data Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in business intelligence.
- Relevant working experience in (insurance) asset management (accounting, controlling/analysis) is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial instruments and financial analysis is a plus

Technical Skills:

- Advanced skills for data analytics, data modelling and visualization with reporting front-end tools (MS Power BI, Tableau or QlikView) is key
- Proficiency in data storytelling, including visualization
- Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
- Experience with data management and cloud platforms
- Experience with Data Pipelines and ETL
- Proficiency in programming languages (preferably Python, Spark, Dax)
- Experience with data engineering tools (Notebooks, Databricks) is a plus

Personal Skills:

- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English (Spanish language skill is a plus)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Good self-management skills and stress resilience
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
