Wood requires an engaging, people-oriented business leader to join our Industrial Power team as the Operations Director for the Spanish business. Reporting to the SVP of Industrial Power, this individual will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of the business plan by demonstrating proactive leadership to drive high performance across operational, financial and safety metrics. To be successful the individual must be self-motivated and have strong commercial knowledge, whilst ideally demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and collaborative skills to work across Wood’s different service lines.

Key focus areas include:

- Directing and guiding the growth, development, and delivery performance of the Industrial Power Spain Operating Unit, supporting the development of strategy, and delivering related business plans
- Being accountable for safety, technical and financial performance of the business unit, assuming budgetary and P&L responsibility and demonstrating clear safety leadership; achieving monthly and annual targets and embedding company values
- Providing guidance and direction to management and support teams in the day-to-day management of delivery, ensuring appropriate controls and governance are in place and ensuring Wood is working to the highest possible standards of integrity, safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Produce solutions to complex strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational and personnel related challenges which impact on customer service and performance
- Manages ongoing business, responsible for budget setting and delivery, contracts, capacity and resource management, and capability management. May be delivering a number of services and capabilities, may manage a single major office or facility or multiple smaller offices / facilities
- To be appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company, if requested

The role provides direction and leadership for the achievement of strategic goals, vision, and shared values through: finance, risk management, change leadership, people and culture, stakeholder management, governance, assurance, compliance, and reputation.

Wood está buscando un perfil directivo orientado a la gestión de personas y del negocio, que se una a nuestro equipo de Industrial Power como Director de Operaciones en España. Reportando al vicepresidente sénior de Industrial Power, esta persona será responsable de liderar el desarrollo y la entrega del plan de negocios en España demostrando ser un líder proactivo para obtener el rendimiento deseado en las estrategias operativas, y financieras y de seguridad. Buscamos una persona motivada, y con un sólido conocimiento comercial, inteligencia emocional y habilidades de colaboración y trabajo en equipo para trabajar en las diferentes líneas de negocio de Wood.

Las principales áreas clave serian:

- Dirigir y guiar el crecimiento y desarrollo de la Unidad Operativa de Industrial Power en España, apoyando el desarrollo de la estrategia y ejecutando los planes de negocio previstos.
- Ser responsable de la seguridad, el desempeño técnico y financiero de la unidad de negocio en España, asumiendo la responsabilidad presupuestaria y de pérdidas y ganancias y demostrando un claro liderazgo en seguridad; alcanzando los objetivos mensuales y anuales en material presupuestaria e incorporando los valores de la Compañía
- Proporcionar orientación y dirección a los equipos de gestión y dar apoyo en la gestión diaria de la ejecución de los proyectos, asegurando que se implementan los controles adecuados, trabajando bajo los más altos estándares de integridad, seguridad, calidad y excelencia operativa.
- Generar soluciones a desafíos estratégicos, contractuales, técnicos, comerciales, operativos y relacionados con la gestión de personas que impacten directamente en el servicio al cliente y el rendimiento de la Compañía.
- Gestión y Dirección de los proyectos en curso, siendo responsable de la elaboración y entrega de presupuestos, contratos y/o proyectos y gestión los recursos. Podrá ser responsable de la entrega y ejecución de proyectos o servicios, pudiendo ser de una sola oficina principal o de varias oficinas más pequeñas.
- Ser nombrado miembro del Consejo de Administración de la Sociedad, si así se solicita

La posición debe proporcionar dirección y liderazgo para el logro de objetivos estratégicos, visión y valores compartidos a través de: finanzas, gestión de riesgos, liderazgo para cambio, personas y cultura, gestión de stakeholders, gobernanza, aseguramiento, cumplimiento y reputación.
