**The position**
- As our Congress & Events Professional you will act as a partner supporting the organization in daily activities taking up responsibility for assigned tasks, working effectively, and collaborating smoothly with internal & external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.- Among your responsibilities you will find:
- To support national and international congresses, Stand, Symposia and internal events according to key priorities in alignment with the Congresses & Events Manager.
- To prospect for hotels and manage their bookings, restaurants, and other services as well as through travel agents and Congress Secretariats and decide which are the most appropriate according to level of quality and budget required.
- To control and manage the budget and billing for congresses and internal/external events and report variations every quarter,
- Innovation and benchmarking: you will be update on new tools, vendors, processes, and competitor’s events management in order improve our market services to our targeted customers.
- You will help the organisation providing administrative coordination and logistic support to it, ensuring a high-quality service to support key company priorities.
**Qualifications**
- University Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in organizing and planning events and trips. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a clear advantage.
- Good command of CVENT tool will be an advantage.
- Travel availability.
- Fluent in Spanish and in English
- As a person you are skilled planning and ensuring timely execution and follow-up, meeting deadlines, anticipating problems, and making decisions. You know how to work both, autonomously and in cross-functional teams. You also have a clear customer orientation and ability to build external/internal relationships.**About the department**
- You will be part of the Spanish affiliate working cross-functionally in a very dynamic environment.- In this position you will work closely supporting Brand Managers, Sourcing Manager, Sales department, Finance and Operations, as well with external stakeholder as vendors or congresses secretariats, reporting directly to the Congresses & Events Manager.**Contact**
