About the team you are joining

The incumbent will be accountable for delivering on an existing Sustainable Aviation Fuel Consulting project in Europe. In addition, the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Senior Manager will be required to identify opportunities, help prepare proposals, and manage/deliver relevant consulting projects in areas related to Aviation Environment, which may not be limited to Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

We are looking for a qualified Sustainable Aviation Fuels Expert with the passion for aviation, technology, and innovation and with an interest to broaden their skill set to other Aviation Environment topics.

The incumbent will be reporting to the IATA Consulting Principal of EMEA region.

What your day would be like

The Sustainable Aviation Fuel Senior Manager is responsible for Consulting related topics pertaining to Aviation environment.

In relation with the areas under responsibility, the incumbent will:

- Engage with prospective customers (i.e.: Governments, Airports, Airlines, Fuel Suppliers and other 3rd parties) to promote IATA’s consulting capabilities in the areas under responsibility;
- Support responses for requests for consulting services in the aviation environment area
- Support the negotiation of consulting projects.

We would love to hear from you if you have
- A deep understanding of at least one area among Sustainable Aviation Fuel, decarbonization, local air quality, non-CO2 climate benefits (contrails), fuel efficiency.
- Experience in the field of Aviation; Formal education in Environmental Sciences or similar would be an asset
- A minimum 5 years of relevant experience in designing, managing, and delivering Sustainable Aviation Fuel and related aviation environment work - ideally via direct international engagement with aviation industry stakeholders, or academic credentials and research that match with the topic requirements.
- International experience: have worked in different locations, cultures, and be familiar with environment and sustainable aviation fuel context and stakeholders in numerous different nations
- Excellent understanding of key regulatory and operational Sustainable Aviation Fuel and aviation environment practices
- PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
