**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the Foodservice sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results and meet sales objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the foodservice industry.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to anticipate market opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Track record of sales excellence in the Food service industry in Ireland
- A proven sales hunter and closer
- Business acumen to spot opportunities and speak knowledgeably about commercial performance.
- Ability to understand financial and commercial indicators.
- Have an eye for business opportunities and follow through on commitments, good market orientation is essential.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
- Entrepreneurial, challenger mindset
- Proven ability and track record of delivering outstanding results.
- Excellent negotiator with the ability to persuade, motivate, and influence
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
