The department that will welcome you is the improvement team of the hydrocarbon’s plants in Tarragona. The improvement team is formed by highly talented people with focus in the improvement of process safety, EH&S, reliability, and competitiveness of the olefins production facilities.
**Internship Description**
A cracker is an integrated manufacturing facility that process large quantities of hydrocarbons and energy very efficiently. The complexity and continuous improvement of the process units still offers opportunities to improve or add further layers of safety protections. There are several specific areas to analyze and optimize and define improvements in several process units.
During your internship you will need to understand the process, the key requirements in process safety, analyze opportunities and define improvements. In your day to day work you will need to interact with process/production/process automation engineers and technicians to complement you own analysis.
**Qualifications**
- You are currently studying for a **master's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any relevant field.**:
- You have **a good working knowledge of English and Spanish **. You must be fluent in Spanish.
- You are willing to deploy your technical and teamwork skills in manufacturing improvements.
- You are hands-on, eager to learn and a good listener.
