We are looking for a Legal Counsel who will be part or our Legal team based in Madrid HQ.
- Responsibilities
Independently handle legal review of agreements from inception to conclusion. Including experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts in English; coordinating with internal business clients to ensure the work product reflects the proposed business relationship; reviewing edits proposed by other contracting parties; negotiating with other parties to arrive at mutually acceptable language; and assisting business clients in finalising documents for signatures.
Oversee and provide legal support for a variety of departments.
Proactively recognize and address potential legal issues as they arise.
Maintain awareness of new regulations and relevant business developments.
- Qualifications
Ability to work independently
Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory) third language is a plus.
Establish strong relationships with the legal team and other departments.
Management of several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure
Strong problem-resolution skills
Managing and coordinating the delivery of accurate legal advice and support across multiple areas, readily understandable to non-lawyers where appropriate.
Motivation to achieve high performance giving your maximum effort.
Licensed to practice law.
Masters of Law (LLM)
More than 4 years of substantive legal experience working as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm.
