A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French and Spanish, - 8+ years of Audit, Risk, Compliance and/or Internal Controls experience preferably in operations, transportation, logistics industry, - Experience in investigations or escalation handling and interacting regularly and directly with senior executives, - Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams and programs, - Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data, communicating data findings, and partnering with internal stakeholders to drive root cause analysis and identify adequate solutions, - Ability to work effectively against tight deadlines and in a quickly changing risk environment.

The objective of the Transportation, Risk and Compliance team is to support all transportation business units to operate in line with Amazon policies and country specific regulation.

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Investigation/Escalation Manager to join our EMEA-wide team, being responsible for a team of Investigation/Escalation Managers that investigate and report on critical and high impact escalations. In this role, you are receiving incoming escalations for the SEU region, you support your team in deep diving the events and root causes leading to the escalation, you ensure high quality case summaries are being established, and work with stakeholders responsible and accountable to close out corrective and preventive action plans.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of Escalation Managers and ensure an adequate mix of skills is available and allocated to investigate incoming escalations,
- Receive, review & prioritize incoming escalations,
- Support your team in autonomously conducting complex deep dive investigations on sensitive and high-severity escalations across the Last Mile transportation business that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customers, or others,
- Ensure high quality root cause analysis to allow adequate recommendations on corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence,
- Be able to assess the real situation, sometimes with limited information at hand in order to make an independent decision about the 3P carrier integrity and compliance standard
- Meeting various SLAs depending on the type of escalation, including non-executive escalations and executive escalations,
- Ensure high-quality escalation reports that are effectively written with practical, actionable, and value-added recommendations,
- Communicate identified issues clearly, concisely, and consistently (verbal and written) to all stakeholders,
- Work across transportation teams and other business partners to identify and assess regulatory and compliance risks as it relates to our 3P carriers,
- Partner with various legal, finance, and compliance teams to optimize compliance programs,
- Drive standardization of methodology & processes, identify and communicate risks, drive process improvement and control implementation initiatives and work with owners to assign accountability,
- Support your team to develop a combination of tools and data sources to conduct investigations,
- Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally, sometimes at short notice.

- Master Degree in risk, audit, or logistics field.
- Transportation or supply chain industry experience, preferably in a similar role, within a high-volume logistics environment.
- Experience working in fraud detection & investigation
- Experience in managing projects or/and case management or/and experience in improving processes.
- Ability to thrive in a start-up like environment
- CIA, CFE, CISA, CPA or similar risk, audit, or compliance credentials.
