**About the role**:
You won't find HR at Mews; we believe our people are much more than human resources. Mewsers are people and the People Team's vision is to nurture a culture where we unlock their potential in them and where every Mewser can make an impact. We operate like a product team, encouraging cross-functional People work and having sprint reviews with the business. This approach builds trust and engagement from our stakeholders. ** Your mission, should you choose to accept it**:

- Employee Relations Management. Be an expert in industry best practices around functional areas of new trends and opportunities to constantly raise the bar on people deliverables
- Employee Lifecycle Management. Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits and development activity.
- Learning & Development: Work closely with the L&D Manager, support the design and delivery of appropriate training and development programs with a focus on succession planning and talent development
- Management & People Data Analysis. Demonstrate very strong analytical capabilities and influence business leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and the employee experience.
- People Team Programs Design & Execution. Develop and own the delivery of the strategic people-related plans for each Mews business leader, ensuring consistency with the People Team's key objectives and goals & enforcing consistency with our policies & procedures.
- Organisation Structure & Design: Working closely with Fintech Leadership, build out a standalone function and drive a resource plan for critical senior hires to support org development and design and deliver compliance for IPO readiness
- Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships Ensure alignment of People related programs by partnering with fellow Mewsers (peers and colleagues).

**️ You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you**:

- Experience leading and working on transformational, complex cross-functional projects with multiple partners, including experience working internationally (opening new countries).
- Ideally, you have experience supporting an IPO or you have worked in a highly regulated payments environment.
- Experience of operating as a strategic People Business Partner with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a high volume, fast-paced, hands-on environment within a tech company.
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment, embracing ambiguity and positioning risk-adjusted decisions to progress the business
- Coaching and mentoring experience at all levels of an organization.
- The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of the People Team within the company.
