**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a forward-thinking and daring Senior FP&A Accountant to join our FP&A function. Reporting to the FP&A Director, this will be a relevant role as Business Partner for our Storefront business. You will play a crucial role in developing actionable insights, critical metrics, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business planning and supporting the team during month-end.
You will give to the business's success by providing data analytics and commercial advice to assist with Executive decision-making. The role will include ad hoc project work and is encouraged to evolve as ESW grows and expands.
**Responsibilities**:
- Business partnering with Senior Management to perform deep dives & provide insights on various cost centres for actual performance vs budget or forecast.
- Support the Client Success Team with contract negotiations & profitability analysis & insights.
- Provide relevant analysis & insights into margin performance, working with the Revenue Accountant as required.
- Prepare reporting packs and presentations for periodic Executive and Board reporting, including month-end business/performance reviews.
- Support the Financial Reporting team during the month-end process, providing insights based on the latest outlook & knowledge gained.
- Supervise key issues identified at month end, working collaboratively with other departments to reach successful outcomes & close issues promptly.
- Support the ESW Treasury function in being responsible for the cashflow requirements of the Storefront Business, including cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for the purposes of budgeting and forecasting, including long-term plans.
- Support the wider finance team by integrating Storefront Finance into ESW Finance.
- Constantly look for ways to improve processes and give to the function.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with validated experience of commercial experience & confirmed experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering or FP&A.
- Outstanding relationship builder with sound emotional intelligence and the ability to work closely with senior non-financial management.
- A collaborative cross-functional work style.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to up-level on-point communication to executives.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint levels are required, including the ability to build sophisticated models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confirmed intellectual and analytical rigour and experience resolving sophisticated business problems with well-structured analytics.
- Experience in e-commerce, payments, logistics, or automation is an advantage but not a requirement.
