To continue to ensure that the financial results are reported accurately, timely and in compliance with local regulations we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at HQ in Stockholm. Check out what our Head of Finance Control Niklas Alyhr has to sayYOUR MISSION AT VOIAs a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the accounting of financial transactions and a wide range of financial reportings across multiple markets in Europe. In this role you will collaborate cross-functionally with people across the markets, and the rest of the finance team to ensure that the financial results are reported correctly, timely and compliantly with local regulations. This will include:Managing current postings and accounting matters in the UK, Finland, Spain and FranceReviewing and posting employee expenses, and ensuring appropriate accounting and VAT codingPreparing and answering for balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reporting, and participating in the external audit and monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and processesCollaborating with the Financial Planning & Strategy team to manage accruals and prepayments, and prepare monthly P/L analysisReviewing and posting payroll files supplied by the Payroll teamCollaborating continuously with the rest of the finance team to ensure compliant and accurate financial records, efficient processes and effective controlsWHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARKWe are looking for a highly organised, result- and solution oriented accountant, who sees challenges as opportunities to grow and improve the current way-of-working. In addition to being professionally fluent in English, we believe the right person has:A university degree in Business administration, Finance or Economics, or equivalent education in business economics or accounting including certification as chartered accountant+3 years of experience from independently working with accounting and month-end closing tasksExperience from working in an international environmentKnowledge of IFRS - knowledge of local GAAP in UK, Finland, Spain or France is a meritExcellent skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets - experience with Netsuite is a meritFluency in Finnish, Spanish or French is a meritWHY VOI?Working at Voi is more than just a job; Our People Promise includes a personal Voiage where you will grow as a professional and be a part of a team and culture that builds something meaningful for society
